Oh Okay I understand the best bowler in the world this is judged on what happened 2 years ago.

Well I have more bad news for you in 2007/08:
Powell, Vettori, Khan, Anderson, Mcgrath and Hogg all had better years than Bracken.

Obviously he isn't the best odi bowler in the world and never has been.

Ranked number 3.

Vettori and Kulasekara are 1 and 2 respectively

Vettori's a spinner. And I let Mousey do the talking with Kulasakera.

On another point, whats with the ICC ranking system?

It is a system based on accumulation yes? Not quite sure as to how it works.

It is based on recent performances and the strenghth of the opposition players accumulate points for each outing.

Ok, does it take how many matches they've played into account, and the value of the batsman they got out? It's all pretty confusing.

Yes all of that sort of thing. I prefer to just look at stats though they tell you more than a rankings system I have disagreed with it many times. Like last year South Africa beats England and ties with India in India, Australia loses to India in India, and then India beats Bangladesh and South Africa find them selves in a situation where if they don't beat Australia they go down to third which is pretty unfair in my eyes.

I still think he is the best ODI bowler, just going through a patch where he isn't taking as many wickets as usual.

Kulasakera is a great bowler but I think Bracken is a little better. His variation is supreme.
