This match got underway this morning.

Going to be a long year for South Australia. That Khawaja looks a real talent though. That fact that SA are relying on Cosgrove to take wickets says the Redbacks badly need a young strike bowler.

Interesting too that Bailey was their seventh bolwer used not a good sign for a guy who held a Cricket Australia Contract 2 years ago.

He did get a couple of wickets when he came on though which is a good sign.

1pm AEDT update: Still raining, No play possible so far today. Looking more likely that there won't be any play today but No decision has yet been made.

Play abandoned at 1:30pm without a ball being bowled due to rain

Yeah, it's not looking promising. Bailey will spend a fair bit of time playing in the twos, he needs as many wickets as he can to put pressure on Cullen. Two is a start but he'll need more.

It's good to see SA at least giving one of them a go in four day game. Given the Aussie spin trouble ATM a good season from Cullen could see in and around the mark again.
