Chennai to get new stadium before 2011 World Cup
Chennai is set to get a new state-of-the-art cricket stadium before the 2011 World Cup, the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) announced. The Tamil Nadu state government has allotted 50 acres of land in Karunkuzhi Pallam, a village in the outskirts of the city for the construction of the new stadium.
