cover driving

cover driving

im finding it difficult to get my foot across to the pitch of the ball espically facing left armers that angle it across me
i know as soon as i swing that i wasnt across to it but cant resolve the problem
does anyone have solutions for this or a similiar thing?

Well, all I know is that when someone like a left-hander bowls from around the wicket...you should open up your front foot a little...I dont know why but 1 of my coaches just said that...

Cover drive was my fav shot and i use to play a lot of it very easily but of late i have been not able to play it very confidently and trying ot avoid it even in the nets and matches as well.
That has put my game in bad picture.
I am trying again to paly that shot or atleast try to get the body in right position to play cover drive.
I have started to do a lot of knocking practice and watching the ball very carefully in the nets as well.
I have a match in couple of days and in hope to do well.
