Thought Michael Di Battista was a bit stiff on not making the 1s with a very good dowling carnival and was the leading run scorer from both those teams. Doug Morris also had a not bad carnival with making 155 runs including 2 50s would of thought he would of also been in the 1s Good luck to both sides

i thought that morris was lucky to make the invitational side,
doesn't bat for his team, he bats for himself.
he might of made all those runs but he made most of them very slowly setting his team up in bad positions.
james ford is a seriously good bowler and deserves his spot in the 1's

both bottom age players and both guns
h.t is a very good leg spinner an captain of the emus that were state champions in U/14s
Matt Crouch captain of central higlanders.
both had good carnivals and watch out for them

Gun at footy and cricket.
made state in both.
good leader.

Mikey Di Battista.
fluke carnival but he is ok.

Tomkinson is a very good bat i played dowling with him this year.

Doug had a good carnival making two fifties for vic....
mikey had a few good knocks making a few twntties n thirties..
mikey gun bat...left hander that smashed em to every corner of the ground... hard to bowl to.
dougie...solid bat...good defense..also hard to knock over...
both very good batsmen

Whoever stated dougie bats for himself is correct,
as i would know, play Club cricket with him :) lol
Mikey and Dougie thou do have the talent to play in thoose sides.
Anyone know how the Vic sides went ?

vic came 2nd
meyrick buchannan, max tomkinson, dylan quirk, matt gunther have been picked to represent australia
meyrick is gun as...one of the best bats going round.

Tomkinson is a cross bat player can only play the short horrible playing throught the off side on the front and back foot

I don't know if he is bottom age 16s or top age but I played against a bowler Mac Watson and he seemed pretty good I think he is from South East Country and also plays for frankston-pen.

bit harsh,
i wouldnt say horrible at playing through the off side
his off side are not the best but there not horrible

and surely hes done something to get in the aussie side if he didnt bowl or keep for victoria

thru the results section on the school sport australia website

tomkinson top scored on day 1 with 29 batting at 8
then opened and top scored with 72
opened again against WA and made 75
then made 4 against vic invitational
he made 27 in the final

Another player for MALLEE who is a better spinner is ben knowles, not as accurate but gets wickets and is a handy middle order batsmen.
Western Spirit have a couple of good quality spinners, one being Liam Jilla who is top aged and plays for st bernards and is extremely hard to get away.
The other being Daniel Costillano who is an under age player that gets wickets and breaks partnerships but can be expensive.
There is also Will Gilmore for Southern Rangers who I consider a better spinner than Lannigan.

Your a joke spin king,
Will Gilmour struggled to get a bowl or a bat in the seagulls team this year. Gotch dominated it for them.
Danny costillano struggled to get a wicket and got smashed around the park, bowls to slow,
Lanigan tore or did something to his hamstring and only played to days.
Ben Rowles had a average tournament, better batting then bowling.
