how did tim duckworth not get a DVCA spot?
he is close to the best keeper in the 16's and he just hit a 50 against riverside
what are your thoughts?

Yeah I've heard he is quite nippy, and yeh ducky is a gun. riverside are no pushovers so it was a very concernted effort by Tim.

Brad will in particular be targeting the #5 batsmen for Plenty.

good point on timmy duckworth good bat and fantastic keeper,
lol gedge steam?
nooooo way don get me wrong he was stiff to miss out on a spot he bowls good line and length that is it not the best bat around, but still can hold one stiff as not to get in i rekon thoughts?
heard only 2 keppers were at the try outs who were they? and hwo do they go?

im not sure who the keepers were at last sundays try outs but this is the final squad this weekends game

i think most of the players picked in the squad for this weekends game will play in either the U16: Beitzel (turf) & Mackay (synthetic) sides in january. Plus there would be players who will definatly be picked who arent playing in this sundays game.

in my opinion
Nicholson and Kett- Beitzel
Chesterton and Van Beal or Hayley? McKay?

chesterton should be picked.
hayley kept pretty average in the second game

Look there are a LOT of players in that squad who really shouldn't be in there. Maybe it goes on who you know? Connections which can get you into rep teams? Is corruption afoot in the DVCA.

van bael n chesterton - mackay cup

van bael n nicholson are both pretty good bats
from what i saw on sunday nicholson's a decent bat
