Re: EA Sports Cricket 2007!

Looks pretty good. Last one had a few bugs in it and the controls were hard to get used to, hopefully this will be better :)

Re: EA Sports Cricket 2007!

wheres the 360 version im not paying $80 bucks for a ps2 game

Re: EA Sports Cricket 2007!

i about croaked when I saw "80 dollars" and then realized you aren't talking American dollars, but I converted it and the price is still high!

definetly not worth it if it is the same as the last one.

Re: EA Sports Cricket 2007!

no mention of online play- at least i couldn't find it. plus its a shocker thats its not for 360.

it will more then likely be around the $100 mark when it comes out $80 was just a guess

Re: EA Sports Cricket 2007!

I'll be looking more forward to the new International Cricket Captain games coming out. I think there is an Ashes version coming out in November and a World Cup Version coming out some time next year.

Re: EA Sports Cricket 2007!

Let's hope they have improved on recent versions as they are unrealistic, boring and slow.

Any release of a demo yet?

Re: EA Sports Cricket 2007!

Will American PS2 be able to play this game?

I have been interested in playing Cricket (in real life and on video game).

I bought Rugby 2005 and learned tons more about the game from
playing it.

Thanks.@|

nope, you have to mod a PS2 to be able to play it.

i think you cna play on xbox360 with a convertor from the machine to the tv.

it works on the PC though!

Re: EA Sports Cricket 2007!

I'm sure if you looked hard you could find a copy in the US. There is a decent base over there despite the love for Baseball, Ice Hockey and Gridiron. You wont find it in your leading gaming stores but I'm sure some little places who stock 'specialist' games would have it.

the problem is that EA didn't make the game for the region that US gaming systems use, so you have to mod it to make it "region free"

i have 07 on the PC, but I have to use the keyboard. it is bearable, but I'm sure it would be more fun to play it with a controller similar to a PS2 controller

Re: EA Sports Cricket 2007!

I used to love the cricket games cause they were games that had one of my favourite sports. Then I soon realised that - like my other favourite sport - the games made for it were always shithouse. I'm more a fan of ICC and Cricket Coach, where you manage a team, not because I like management games more (Fifa 08 > Football Manager 08), but because the games made for AFL and Cricket in a traditional (playable) sense have just been awful. Cricket 97 is still the best game ever, but CC, ICC >>> any EA Cricket.
