The Lions take on the Magpies in the final match of the season. The Magpies have already wrapped up the one day title in a thriller and will be looking to do the double. The Lions are yet to win a grand final in the longer version of the game though having been runners up twice already will be looking to end the drought of premiership success. This is going to be a cracker, who will be victorious...The Lions with their ever so potent bowling attack or the Magpies with one of the best top orders?

We have better bowling attack and far superior batting lineup, carn the Maggies the double is here for the taking, give these morons some more heartbreak and make it 3 out 3 GF losses :D

Time for the double Maggies. We have a great squad and it won't be easy for Arma picking a side. Our victory celebrations will include guest appearances by Beyonce and that young chick from Idol. The clubhouse will be festooned with Maggies memorabilia and season highlights DVD's running non-stop.

I would have preferred a batters pitch, we are good enough to rip apart sides on batting decks but the Lions would never knock over our batsman on a good pitch, they need all the help they can get, know the only way to compete is to keep it as alow scoring match

I'm fully prepared and in an aggressive wicket-taking mood.

The crowd is ready too. Tickets for Day 1 at the Kandy Bowl sold out in 45 minutes. I've heard rumors of tickets being scalped for high prices, which is something we've never had before here. The atmosphere will be electric, and I'm sure it's going to be the loudest match I've ever played in.

Sorry, Jerk. No one can deny the contributions you've made to our club this year, but I had to go with the line-up I thought would give us the best chance of winning. You've been more of a one-day specialist this season.

I had to drop myself too, because our other spinners are just so good that I rated them ahead of me.
