I can honestly say that I have never played for either Newtown or St Joeys, nor will I ever. St Joeys I have found are decent guys; only one tosser; Jason Stein; Newtown similar except for Ian Hastie. Possibly one of Geelong's finest. Hang on Tsitas did play at Newtown...

and we thank the almighty two-blues lord tuesday, thursday and saturday that he has left :D

bangladesh_8 how can u say chris cruckshank is underated? the guy has played most of his cricket in the 2nds n has played 3-4 games in the ones and he still showed nothing. brett anderton is a good bowler and isnt overated. brad hauenstein is easily the best getting around.

has cruikshank made a run in the one's at grovvie?
his not underrated, he's not overrated... he's just simply NOT rated!
no offence to him tho, his actually a good bloke.

Bangladesh_8 need to sort out your posts before saying stuff like that.

with a club like city, i bet they want nothing to do with sharkbite. im sure a few older heads would cringe at this joke that says his from city.

just read most of the posts from sharkbite.
he really, really, really has no idea.
please state your name so we know who not to talk cricket to outside this forum.

Yeah lets get rid of Sharkbite...i reckon its that kid who plays 2s at City. I think his name is Jared Bosely with the red hair?????

Can someone confirm how many 1 dayers there will be this year?

is there a jared boseley out at city?

i think a justin boseley used to play out there, and he has red hair, but i doubt sharkbite would be him... Justin isn't that much of a tool. but maybe there is a jared boseley with red hair, i just havn't wasted my time to watch him.

wat do people think the under 21s side will be this year? probably best to leave out the younger guys who often don't play due to schooling committments

think dewwy is taking control of it again.
they will lose a few players.
O'Neil to skipper again with Mitchell Troy Vice Captain i would think, same as last year.

Hopefully they get a full squad to choose from and they stay off the beers on the sat night, not worth the 3 hour trip to Seymour again to watch them play if the opening bowler cant run in cos he is too hungover.

Some Probables:

O'Neil (Thomson)
Troy (North Shore)
Hodgson (St Joeys)
Fitzgerald (St Joeys)
Nguyen (East Belmont) *knee issues
Nolan (St Joeys)
Armistead (North Geelong)
McGuane (Colac)
Gove (Newtown)
Herbison (Barwon Heads)
Schaller (Barwon Heads)
Orvis (Queenscliff)

Feel free to add some from your club or others you know about :)

GCA3: guild
BPCA: barwon heads will beat st albans again possibly.

Sharkbite has to go. Big chip on his shoulder and has no idea about local cricket|@

Maybe he could go and set up a thread titled 'Why City are great and everyone else is sh*t'?

He is not a tosser he a great bloke so leave hime alone mate

Sorry mate but we differ. You will note that I never said he is a tosser off the field; just on it. I don't know him off the field so can't comment. Hell I have played with some guys who are rippers off the field but idiots on. Whether Stein would lend you the shirt off his back or not is another issue. SuperStar; on the field he is a five star.

There are rules to protect against this where juniors have to play I think 20 senior games at the club they played juniors at. I am not sure if it goes any deeper, or if it is only once they have played a senior game, but definitely see the point.
We had a lad playing juniors at our club and seniors somewhere else for money. (although only a little) I am not really sure how this happened, but it seems to be very wrong to me.

hey harps, good question this........ are you gayunna play this year????

nah none in that class i wouldnt think, chris hester and ryan mills (both playing at ndcc) might go close in a year or so. the only bpca players i can think of is schaller and herbission who you already had in.

heard tonight schaller is down at geelong this season.
