I'm not sure if we need to have a match thread for the matches in this Championship, maybe these threads will do for now. Well, South Africa will be playing West Indies tomorrow in a rematch of the opening fixture at WC 2003. West Indies won that game by a whisker, but this is a whole new ballgame and I expect South Africa to pull away easily considering they beat Australia (iirc) in the warm-up matches.

West Indies 164 for 8, Bangladesh 165 for 4. Bangla won with two overs to spare. Ashraful and Aftab hit excellent sixties.
