I hate ICC with a passion.

What they did towards the end of the "World Cup Final" was the stupidest ever thing possible in any sport event.

Cricket will never become a popular sport worldwide and maybe it should stay that way with such a stupid governing body.

Australia, obviously through no fault of their own, have taken cricket playing to a new level. But at the same time when they've been doing these great advancements for the sport, ICC has methodically set out to kill the sport and try to ruin it every chance they get. Already a huge gulf in quality has developed between Australia and rest of cricket playing nations. (None of which is Australia's fault BTW, full credit to them.) On top of that, ICC is making it impossible to spread this sport to any other part of the world. Things couldn't be getting worse. I'm sorry, but this is not the sport with a passion I grew up loving in 70s and 80s. The soul has been ripped apart from it.

Once again, if anyone incorrectly assumes I'm whining after Australia's big achievements that I'm discrediting them. Not the slightest. Big congrats to Australia and thanks for pushing the boundaries of the sport to a new level.

One more stinging criticism about the fast suicide wish which ICC seems to have set out upon.

As many problems as there were in this tournament, one thing you can't blame on Speed and the organizers is the ending of the final. That's entirely upon the umpires.

Though it certainly was a perfect ending to a poorly run tournament.

And while everyone is right to be worried about the organizing of this tournament, do keep in mind that the next one will be in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. Spreading the matches out over those 4 countries should yield very different results in the attendance column. Instead of holding games on an island with a population of 100 thousand, we'll get a bunch of games in Bangaldesh, a country of 150 million.

Why take everything so seriously? It is only a game of cricket. It's not the end of the world.
Calm Down and move on.

because its meant to be the biggest thing on the cricket calender and they stuffed it up alot of places in the west indies now owe alot of money to banks and so on as they didnt make any because the icc charged to much to get into the grounds so no one ended up going half empty stands at big games isnt good enough

You guys act like the Indian's and Pakistani's whenever they lose a series of cricket.

Everyone needs to get over it, including imberciles like yourself who swear and carry on like a little baby whenever something wrong happens. You are way too embarrassing and trust me it causes people to rethink coming on here and joining in the discussions.
