ICC accepts blame for 'human and database errors'
Malcolm Speed, the chief executive of the International Cricket Council, has said that the ICC accepts the blame for the database and human errors which played a part in Harbhajan Singh escaping a more severe penalty during his racial abuse appeal hearing in Adelaide. Harbhajan's three-Test ban for calling Andrew Symonds a monkey during the Sydney Test was reduced to a fine of 50% of his match fees by Justice John Hansen on the grounds of insufficient evidence.
