IPL Game 12 - Bangalore Royal Challengers vs Rajasthan Royals at Bangalore

This game is almost over. Bangalore batted first after losing the toss and lost early wickets, Shane Watson and Munaf Patel bowled well at the start, taking two wickets each, both players finished with 2/20. Tridevi and Shane Warne snared one wicket also and two run outs saw Bangalore finish on 8/135. Ross Taylor top scored with 44 and Praveen Kumar made 34 to get the Challengers up to a halfway decent total.

In reply, the Royals have cruised to 3/130 from 16 overs. Graeme Smith was just out for 49, Yusuf Pathan made a brisk 21 while Watson has been the mainstay with 57 off 39 balls and is still at the crease. Kumar, Joshi and Zaheer Khan have the wickets.

Not long to go for the Rajasthan Royals, after being thrashed in their first game, they are going to win three games in a row.

Game over. Watson hits Joshi to the boundary, the score moves to 3/138 and the Royals have won by seven wickets.

An easy win in the end, the Super Kings also had a very easy victory earlier tonight.

Rajasthan looking the goods now, they've won three in a row and they could play a major part in the finals if they can keep their current form going.

Still 47 games to go but, plenty of cricket left in this competition.

Watson's a bargain basement player for the Royals. He's basically the only decent international Warne's got because Khan is not going to the IPL and Akmal's a bit up and down. It underlines how well Warne is captaining.
