IPL Game 43 -Bangalore Royal Challengers vs Delhi Daredevils at Bangalore
A crucial fixture for both sides, Bangalore need to win every game from here on in to make the finals while Delhi need a win also to stay in touch with the top four. Both teams are in some shocking form and have lost four out of their last five games.
Bangalore are really struggling with their bowling, they can't seem to take wickets, so much so that they've only taken two wickets from their past two games. They''ve also conceded some big scores with their attack having trouble putting the ball in the right areas. Their batting is also suspect with repeated failures at the top of the order leaving the middle order with plenty of work to do. It's no surprise that Rahul Dravid is their top run-scorer, he has come in very early quite a number of times so far in the series. Bangalore will need an improved effort in all areas to try and challenge the Delhi side.
Delhi also have their own troubles, they're suffered two close losses from their last two games and they would be in the top four had they won those encounters. Their batting looks pretty good with Gautam Gambhir (the tournament's leading run scorer) and Virender Sehwag in some good form. They are struggling with their bowling though, their economy is too high with only Glenn McGrath keeping a lid on things regularly.
A cracking match coming up, both teams desperate for victory. A loss for Bangalore and they are as good as out while another loss for Delhi will make it hard for them to play in the semifinals.
Delhi Daredevils XI (probable): 1 *Virender Sehwag, 2 Gautam Gambhir, 3 Shikhar Dhawan, 4 +AB de Villiers, 5 Manoj Tiwary, 6 Tillakaratne Dilshan, 7 Farveez Maharoof, 8 Rajat Bhatia, 9 Amit Mishra, 10 Yo Mahesh, 11 Glenn McGrath.
