IPL League - Your predictions
We're only a few days away from the start of the Indian Premier League so I thought we'd have a little prediction competition.
I want you to pick three main players - a batsman, a bowler and a keeper who you think will top the averages over the course of the competition. Also, you have to pick a wildcard Indian player who you think will do well.
The plan is to take the position of all your players (in the average charts) and average them out, so if you were to have players ranked 5,18,12 and 50, your average would be 5+18+12+50/4 = 21.25.
The players will be ranked on their primary skill as chosen by you. The wildcard will be ranked normally if they played and gain an average, however if they fail to gain an one then they will automatically be given a ranking of 182, the same goes for any of your main players who fail to get a ranking.
A full list of players can be found here - IPL Teams. For the purpose of this, the Indian wildcard must be taken from a player who hasn't got their main skill written next to their name in the list provided.
I will do a round up stats after each round of matches (starting from round 2) and will produce a league table accordingly.
To play submit a reply set out like this -
Batsman:
Bowler:
Wicket Keep:
Wildcard (Skill):
So my selections are as follows:
Batsman: Cameron White
Bowler: Daniel Vettori
Wicket Keep: Mark Boucher
Wildcard (Skill): Napoleon Einstein (Batting)
