Is The Premiership Contention Over?

Is The Premiership Contention Over?

Have MGS sealed it up for 07/08 season. Although highly unlikely but if MGS were to lose last 3 and either Carey, Scotch or Xavier win all of the last 3 then they would be premiers.

Re: Is The Premiership Contention Over?

Unlikely, MGS have been so so close to Hailebury last few years (especially 05-06) they deserve it. They are clearly the best, first premiership in 30 years!! It will be a harder task next year for them though.

Re: Is The Premiership Contention Over?

mate they will be better next year with their two leading wicket takers voyage and their spinner bett both having a year to go. Not to mention Cameron who is the quickest i have faced in the aps (behind patto) in year 11 aswell. could it be a back to back window for MGS??

Yeah our bowling attack will be AMAZING, it has always been that way in our year since year 7. Problem is way lack depth with the batting. We have some OK'ish batsman in our year and 1 or 2 in the years below but not as strong as the likes of Shaw, Thomas, (with Land and Payne and Gooley thrown in on their good days). Our bowling attack will be unrivaled though. All our best bowlers are underage.

will be rivaled by a great skevs bowling line up. With griffiths back at full strength next year, him and clancey opening the bowling will go through any batting lineup in the aps. This with the support of stafford and conway, skevs bowling unmatched, with only one score of over 150 scored against them all year. All of this with the first 3 bowlers every week underage.

Xavier will be dominant next year, with curtain, donnellan, mcgorian, o sullivan, ryan, goss, murray, tiernan, all coming back from this year

Re: Is The Premiership Contention Over?

fellas i think we're all forgettin someone here. Scotch currently second in premiership with only two players goin next year look damn good and could go back to back next two years. Macmillan best bat in comp next year and easily best keeper, eldridge coming back to form with a ton this year and also being able to bowl and lets not forget seb "the rock of gibraltar" mather - unbowlable.

Re: Is The Premiership Contention Over?

Haileybury to struggle next season is a given with 6 players leaving and not many new blokes getting a good bat/bowl

the comment you have just made is what youir name describes mate. an absolute joke. griffths on his bad day is horrible, clancey very good season but wont repeat it. conway is rubbish and which stafford is bein talked about??

MGS attack= keath and cameron with new ball- will take 3/4 wickets in their opening spells
voyage and bett and then probably jenkins and tyrone bean maybe. then trotter if needed. thats a bowling attck
