I thought it was great, because they shaked hands afterwards and that was it.
Styrus even played it down at the subsequent match referree meeting, which at the end of the day probably stopped Johnson copping a suspension. That sought of thing used to be common in the AFL and the NRL; when players got cited the victims involved would play it down or put in 'a good word' for the player concerned.
New Zealand and Australia have are both proud teams and they both hate losing. I thought it gave the series some bite, got the crowd into it, and I dare say both Styrus and Johnson enjoyed the spat in a strange type of way.
