Lofting Every Shot.

Hi Guys.

I am a middle order aggressive batsman. I have been playing regular t20 matches, just recently started league (100 overs matches). Because of playing regular t20's, my shots selection is stuck at lofted shots only. Even if I try to play an off drive its always a lofted off drive. There is no single match when my captain hasn't said "You need to be calm, we are not playing t20's!!"

Luckily I am a good leg spinner, otherwise they would have dropped me ages ago, because I get out very quickly.

I am looking for some advice to improve my ground shots and forget about hitting sixes. I would love to score 50's and 100's without any risky shots.

Hit the ball down instead of up on cross batted shots, and wait for the ball to get right under your eyes when driving to keep it along the floor.

Its also worth noting that there is nothing intrinsically dangerous about a well judged lofted shot, only a mis-hit one.
