Sounds like this Dave bloke was a bit naive and has been put back in his rightful place thank you very much! Wobble is one of the most hard working and respected people in the DVCA, good luck to him and his committee as he has been a tireless worker over a long period, the Mash dynasty lives on:)

Agreed

Well it took a couple of years, but wobbles has had enough and stepped aside for Dave.
Don't think Wob ever recovered from the initial challenge and did not have the backing of a lot of Club members who were happy to have a whinge when half tanked.
Hope cricket doesn't lose Wob - what a great bloke! DVCA - GET HIM!

Fair shout. Wob for Pres?

Most of last years a grade side to retire? Zerafa not to play before christmas, smith sore, potter tenni mchugh had enough

If they are sore and had enough now, they better not change their minds. New coach Mark Emery will have them training 3 nights a week and running the streets. I'm tipping the players at Lower Plenty will dislike cricket by about November.

Shouldn't be too hard for the players to keep up if Old Dick leads the running - by now he probably moves about as fast as Cliff Young.
