Fair enough I guess. Maybe she'll come around at the next first-class game you're at.

won't be seeing her at a first class game

i'll see her again when i have the club she scores for.

haven't had them this season though. which is odd. spent most of last season at their ground.

She's a player then, what role does she play? Put in a request that you want to umpire her team. Considering that you spent most of last season there, you should get another opportunity perhaps. Do you know when you're next umpiring there? You're an umpire, she's a cricketer. You ever heard of the song Opposites Attract?

i went out a couple of times with a player late last year (in the SA Scorpions squad). she decided she had too much going on in her life at the time. only for me to find about 2 months later she had found a boyfriend. i also went out a couple of times with a girl in the NSW Breakers squad (didn't get very far with her - but they were here for a week or so last season so i took her out a couple of times - i'm not quite into that type of long distance relationship though).
