Reds CC in Melbourne are touring the UK in May. Due to a late withdrawal, we need one more player to join our party of 13.
We play 15 matches, visiting London, Hampshire, Dorset, Bath, Worcester, the Lakelands, Edinburgh, York and Cambridge.
Grounds we play at include the Artillery Ground in the heart of London (the world's oldest ground still in use), the historic Hambledon club, Keswick (named by Wisden as England's most beautiful ground), Trowbridge (one of Wiltshire's county grounds) and Foxton (three times winner of Cambridge's award for best ground). Plus numerous lovely village grounds.
Each player is guaranteed 2/3 of the matches.
Dates are: fly out of Melb Sat April 28, 10.30pm. Fly back on the weekend of Sat May 26, arriving Melb 9.15pm Sun May 27.
Cost of the full tour is $4500, which includes return airfare, bed & breakfast accommodation each night, travel & playing insurance, and travel around the UK. People wishing to arrange their own flights can do the tour for $2500. If someone can only do part of the tour, that can be discussed.
