Most valuable player??

Who is the most valued player for your respective teams? Please give us your thoughts southswans. For GC the most valued would have to be Kitchen - he is the best batter in the team, opened for APS side last year in yr.11, solid off spinner and gun fieldsman. Most likely for the GC captaincy, and performes well on the dacefloor on saturday. Also ROgerson the crazy opening bowler. He can bowl good pace and vary handy with the bat in a tight spot. THought??

Re: Most valuable player??

yeh look, a agree with rogerson and kitchen. Both are just as valuable to their team. Agree with your points, but i think noodles might just have the edge, you will always take a quick with open arms. But regardless, Kitchen (Shana) is very good. WE'll see at the end of the season

Re: Most valuable player??

Kitchen, Dunnell, Griffiths, Astbury, Clayton, Pattinson and Roney are each very valuable individually to their respective teams. In terms of who will carry the biggest workload this year; Dunnell and to a lesser extent Clayton will be the core of their respective sides' challenges for the premiership.

Re: Most valuable player??

Dunnell is leaving school. Unless he repeats Year 12.

Re: Most valuable player??

Dunnell came to MGS on what is called an 'apprenticeship scheme', which means that he has the possibility to do yr.12 again.
About 20 per year are on one, but you have to be underage.
Dunnell has only done 3 yr. 12 subjects this year and will have to do yr 12 again.

Re: Most valuable player??

Then why is he training with Essendon and not the firsts!

Re: Most valuable player??

Cos MGS are doing one nets session a week, and if you were a half serious cricketer you would be doing pre-season outside school, especially if you had a shot at making Essendon 1sts.
ATM mgs have almost all their team either training with district side or with state (keith and bett - u17)

Ah MGS up to their old shifty tricks again. I think it has been established that Dunnel must be a dreg.

Re: Most valuable player??

dunell does 5 yr 12 subjects - mainly because he's in yr 12!
he is not playing cricket again this yr for mgs, he is leaving school.
"apprenticeship" - what the hell is that? get your facts right before making stuff up. 20% of kids at mgs do not do yr 12 over two years.
club cricketer - where do you get your information. it is all absolute crap. all mgs boys arent training with district clubs, there are about 3 who are doing so out of the twenty or so training.

Re: Most valuable player??

talked to sammy today actually. seems as if i was wrong...
he's not on an apprenticeship scheme but yes he will be playing this yr. he is repeating yr 12 for personal reasons. club cricketer you're a better guy than i thought. what a pick.

Who the hell do you think you are superhoops and JB? U r either both stupid or attend DeLa.... It is true that all MGS players are training with district sides:p , and there is a distinct possibility that Dunnell with play 1sts cricket in 07/08 and 08/09. Mabye you should spend less time on the computer spreading rubbish and concentrate on getting your average above 10.... Useless.
