need some help, technique

hey guys

Dont know if anyone can help me but im trying to route out an error in my batting technique, in hope that i will get closer to county this season. Basically i have a tendency to play everything on the back foot, either that or i stay on the popping crease when im being told by friends that i should be on the front foot.

The odd thing is that when i get a ball coming up into my chest i get too cramped up to play it, so end up bringing the bat into my chest and jumping to defend the ball hehehe.

Are there any errors in my technique that are evident so far?

I think my problem is that i dont know whether to come forward or back, everything seems like it is bouncing alot, and that by getting onto the front foot im gonna be forward to hit it.

Anyway, are there any practices or training tips i can get to help me rectify the front foot and back foot problems?

I know its kinda a hard question to ask without any of you actually watching me bat but you never know ;)

Thanks!

Guy
