Looking at stats Kolep looks to be having a fantastic season and would be on huge $$$. A few others on massive $$$ and there is said to be at least 7 ones players to be getting paid. The Olympic Hotel must be putting in some serious $$$

Get down to the club and sign up as a member through the coterie. You’ll get a great day with a feed and drinks provided in the big match against Keon Park.

But more importantly, you’ll be invited along to the AGM. This is where you’ll separate fact from fiction. But that wouldn’t be as fun as posting wild speculation, would it?... But then the committee would probably get accused of altering the books, can’t win.

As TA25 has stated, you're all welcome to sign up as members of our coterie club (an excellently well run fundraising program for our club) to get an excellent feed and drinks while you watch the match of the year in Quick (Us v KP) in comfort as well as attend the AGM.

The information you'd find out RE wages through our thorough financial report at the AGM would suggest that if JK is on the coin you suggest, the other paid players must be on a fried dimmie a game.

It does also appear that you're including players who are part of the age old concept of a non-contract player being a part of a general, incredibly modest incentive scheme for that all players in your first XI are eligible for if they meet various qualifications.

You'd also find out that our decent and improving financial situation has just as much to do with our strong social membership program (incl coterie club) and the club being a busy place on Thursday and Saturday nights as it does any individual sponsor. Which isn't to denigrate our sponsors, they're fantastic local businesses who we have formed great relationships with over time and we work hard to provide them with just as much value out of the arrangements as we get.

Most importantly we simply aren't spending money that we don't have, it's a bit hard to be breaking the bank going for a flag like some are suggesting while our main focus is financially future proofing the club. It's great that we're managing to play some good cricket while laying these foundations though.

You'll probably suggest now we've simply got some rich benefactors which is a claim that has been doing the rounds for years (such as that time a few years ago when it was suggested 'the money had dried up' and we were about to fold as a result. If you can find them I'd love to meet this guy and hit him/them up for a loan!

You’d need to use some initiative and ask those guys involved yourself. Anything else would be interpretation and speculation.
