ODI rule modifications could get early start
The modifications in ODI rules, as proposed by the ICC in June 2007, could be implemented early if the Indian and Australian captains and boards are not averse to it. The rules are supposed to come in force from October on, but the seven-ODI series between Indian and Australia starts on the September 29.
