Player of the Month - July

King Pietersen was the worthy winner for June, with a string of consistent performance. Can anyone match or indeed beat that and take the crown for July? All you have to do is post up any notable performances to be in with a shout.

Qualifying period is for the month of July, so that's from the the 1st to the 31st.

All games count, but please say what the match type was (20/30/40/50 overs etc).

Wish you all luck and I hope to see some cracking scores, especially with it being July and the ground getting harder (ok, it's the UK and its wet, but I can pretend that we have some kind of summer ;))!

I might as well get things started with my first bowling effort of July - 20Twenty match where I opened the bowling at finished with 4-0-10-0. Slightly dissappointed not to get a wicket but I was pleased with the economy and consistently beat the bat throughout the spell so that was pleasing.

I'd a great day today. Bowled 3-0-8-4 (O-M-R-W). I was on a hat-trick for a fifth, but had a good lbw turned down. Game was a 50 over cup match, I'll link to scorecard once it's up.

My weekend's work consisted of 1* off 2 balls and 13-2-32-2 (O-M-R-W) with 2 catches dropped off my bowling on Saturday. And on Sunday I scored 14, which is my highest score in adult cricket, along with 5-2-8-4. I had a ball miss the off stump by less than an inch for my 5-fer but it wasn't to be, overall I was pretty chuffed with my performances over the weekend.

Nice figures Ed and you've got a really good strike rate too!!

I'll keep this going with 17 runs (got myself out again, I find the bowling too easy and just can't concentrate, there is nothing to hold my attention for long periods) and 10 overs, 2 maidens, 2 for 44. Bowled fairly well I feel, most of the runs were through gully or the slips (edges that were put down or failed to carry).

i play under 14 in india so i cant get a link but today i was the opening batsmen and scored 30 runs in 35 balls
it was an 20 over game

Had my best day of the year on Saturday, took 3 good catches and scored a nice 94 n.o from about 140 balls. Just didn't have enough time to get to 3 figures, would have been my first one since school!

Congrats, that's a class score!!

My match was called off this week because the pitch was unplayable (aka they forgot to cover it!!)

I got figures of 8-2-19-2 (O-M-R-W). It was a 40 overs match per side and I thought it was pretty decent considering how some other people got a good smack on a batsman friendly pitch.

Bowled today in a 50 over match but I didn't get a bat. The figures were 10-1-23-1 but I had their best batsman nick it behind 3 times, once not given and twice the catches weren't taken. Overall I didn't bowl as well as I would've liked though.

erm nt me best month can't find individual figures except yesterdays 10overs 4 maidens 13 runs 1 wicket.... overall this month though according to the clubhouse sheet i've bwled 67.5 overs 11 maidens 107 runs 9 wickets

and i need to say for a number 11 i scored a very nice 6 over 24 with 3 cracking 4's thru covers a nice flick of me legs for 4 and a sloggish pull
