Playing for a premier side in victoria

Want to know about getting into a premier cricket side in victoria (specfically mcc). Is premier more of an elite competition or can it just be open to lower skill players in 3rds and 4ths? I am already an mcc member so im sought of half way lol.

Premier cricket is the highest grade you can play in Melbourne/Victoris before you play state cricket, so yes its an elite competition. I doubt being an MCC member would have any factor to play at the club and Melbourne CC would be one of the top teams in this state and you generally need to be invited to play here.

Ahhhk i see now thanks, i think in that case ill just go with entering their club IX competition instead nd find out more about the club IX competition.
