Premier Cricket 12/13

Not sure about the standard of district cricket at the moment. Trent "thumpa" Lawford went from the WDCA into North Melbourne's 1sts a few weeks a go and got 2 wickets and made 40 odd, including 4 big 6s. This bloke is nowhere near as good as he was 3 years a go.

Were you at the ground Classx1? You might have mentioned the zacs were off B Drew, maybe it's Shield Cricket that's in trouble, or maybe the big fella just nailed a couple...

The Big Fella didn't impress on Sunday against the Saints. Was out 1st ball to a young left arm offie and didn't trouble the Saints batsman with his medium pacers.

I see that Darren Dempsey is in the Dandenong side for tomorrows one dayer. He had moved over to New Zealand so I wonder if he has returned home? A massive pick up if he is back for good.

Could anyone give me some information on a guy named Ayrton Dehmel, in the space of two years has gone from playing futures/State 2ndXI to playing premier 2nd grade. Big fall from grace?

2 great finals tomorrow - Outer clubs in Dandenong and Ringwood taking on 2 powerful city clubs in Prahran and Melbourne. Loads of state players particularly in the 2 city clubs up against younger sides from the suburbs

*B Turf (Premiers 2011/12)

*C Turf

*G Turf *Subject to ECA grading

In addition to the Club fields junior teams from Under 10 through to Under 16 and conducts a busy Milo-In-To cricket programme.

The Club has been a regular finalists in recent seasons (winning Dunstan and B grade turf flags in 2011/12 ) and is seeking a head coach to continue its success at the senior level and develop the talented group of emerging talent from the junior ranks.

As the Club marches towards its centenary, it has become evident that the development of its local talent would benefit by introducing contemporary tools and techniques.

The successful candidate will be supported by the cricket operations committee in devising a comprehensive across club program to ensure development at all levels.

The Club would favourably consider a candidate (preferably accredited coach or higher level playing credentials ) wishing to combine coaching with an appropriate on field role. Non-playing coaches will also be considered.

An attractive remuneration fee will be negotiated.

In the first instance, expressions of interest should be forwarded to: David Doolan, Vice President Cricket Operations, doolan@bigpond.net.au, or by telephone 0419 335 991.

Though losing Trent Lawford as senior coach to North Melbourne half way through last year, the Wyndhamvale CC was able to go on and win the 2012/13 premiership.
The Vales are now seeking a new coach, you can find all the information on the bigcricket advertising thread or on our website.
