I've made it a point not to promote on PC. Almost, if not all, the sites that are promoted on there gain this reputation of being just another copy of PC and pretty much every one is doomed to fail. I think the reason for that is most of the members who join are obviously going to be PC members and because PC is an amazing forum, even if they post for a few weeks or maybe even a month, they're going to return to PC as their main cricket forum. That's not a bad thing, but it does ruin the forum that they leave. I think our goal should be to post well, even if we don't actively seek out members. If we can create good conversations, we will naturally get members, whether through search engines or by word of mouth.
