Bloody terrible news. He was still a young man. For me his defining moment was in Test cricket with his gutsy double ton in Madras (Chennai) that not only saved our bacon but resulted in a rare tied test. Word was that Deano could have died from heat exhaustion. Not sure how true that is but he was a sick boy. It was in the colored gear that Deano really excelled. He murdered the best white ball bowlers of the day time and time again. Was great to watch.

Deano changed the way that cricket was played. His aggressive running between wickets and wearing sun glasses in the field. RIP Legend
