Sheffield Shield- WA vs Tasmania

Wow, Tigers really taking WA to the cleaners...3 for 306. Though given the way the WA guys batted last time out, they'll want to bat all day today as well to make sure of the first innings points.

Well done to Tom Paine for getting his first century.. 119* go on and make a big one!:D

Re: Sheffield Shield- WA vs Tasmania

7 for 533 declared, batted really well with Paine scoring a double ton.

Re: Sheffield Shield- WA vs Tasmania

WA are 2/240 at the moment in the lunch break. Justin Langer is still there on 151 and Marcus North is with him on 25. Shaun Marsh was dismissed this morning for 50, falling LBW to Brendan Drew.

This pitch is a road. At this rate, Tassie might struggle to get a second bat.

Interesting declaration from Langer, when they were still down by 200 and he was on 188 approaching a double century. It seems like a bad idea, but I suppose if they can pick up the final 5 wickets in the first hour tomorrow, they might feel they can bat really fast and steal a win.

Re: Sheffield Shield- WA vs Tasmania

Tasmania went on to score 7/200 in their innings before declaring. Aaron Heal took 5/57. I tell you what, this kid has come on so much in recent weeks, this is great for WA cricket. North and Magoffin got the other wickets.

Paine continued his recent good form with 56, Bevan got 46 and Bailey scored 39.

Wa started poorly, Langer and Ervine both opened and were back in the pavillion not long after.

They are currently 4/221 at tea. They need 180 runs off a minimum of 32 overs. Tasmania need 6 wickets. North was out in the last over before tea for 107, dismissed by the bowling of Michael Bevan.

Hilfanhaus has 2 wickets, Griffith has the other one.

Adam Voges is currently on 72, Chris Rogers on 3.

Re: Sheffield Shield- WA vs Tasmania

Voges finished 152 not out, but WA was all out for 394, meaning Tasmania won by 6 runs! In the final over too! What a thriller!
