As for the best bowlers in the comp at the moment i don't think you could go past A.Blake from Box Hill and Boglis from Altona. Thats just my opinion.

A.Blake is probably the best, back to his best of the weekend and really showed his class against S.Craig worked him over well.

The other top bowler I have come across and found very difficult is M.Donnelly from Oakleigh, big leftie who hits the deck hard and moves it both ways and work up a bit of steam

yer donnelly got me out in a 1 dayer last time we played this group funny enough i got 80 odd in the semi we played the same year on a road........last year cleaned me up nicking........blake would be 1..........most of the time im getting myself out so im confident against any bowler..........

cause you are so good and won so many flags what are your thoughts on the toughest bowlers you have faced........?????

yer 2's.........not up to it any more.........you have to get some this week otherwise you might be in the magoo's or are you still sucking them

But still can't use excuses, batsmen have the willow for a reason.

I just don't get you. You talk yourselves up like you are the best thing since sliced bread, but you are:

1) a top-order batsmen in the 2nds (Browny);
2) a specialised fieldsman in the 1sts (YWL).

If you are going to play a kid in the 1sts, get him to do something (bat him if he is there as a batsmen; bowl him if he is a bowler). You are an old side as it is, so play the kids. And I mean play them rather than effectively have 10 people in the team.

Our club is playing kids at the moment. And they are either getting decent overs or batting in the top-order.

As for Melton, who cares if they are supposedly weak as water. They have quality batsmen and are playing the kids in prominent roles.

Interesting to see that YWL was demoted back to the 2's after his fine fielding effort's.

Taking his place were player's double his age.
