I was reading that the waiting list for elective surgery is currently longer than for a good while during this economic downturn, mostly caused by your over spending mates in Canberra Terry. We can only just afford private health as wife still brings in an income, but it is becoming more of a struggle with greedy companies putting up their premiums when they wish. We have also been using Medicare more too for such things as severe wounds and burns at public hospital Emergency Depts. Plus we also M for eye care. Personally I have been pleased with their prompt and attentive care.
