THINGS THAT GO BUMP IN THE NITE

While laying in bed the other morning feeling sorry for myself after my tumble, this thread came into my mind as everyone is fascinated by the unknown. I recall Jessica, Terry and myself penned a tall story about a haunted house. It was my favorite of all our stories. So here goes guys and gal prepared to be scared, very scared.

Who among you has had a bone chilling supernatural encounter. I have.

IT was in my early 20s when a live in girlfriend and I decided to kill some time on a winters day with some ouija board nonsense, as neither of us took the after life at all seriously. When I asked the board ''is there anybody here in this room with us'' nothing, asked a second time, again nothing. Then as we were about to accept that this was all just a bad joke, the air around the table suddenly became icey cold. WE both shivered as we had on lite clothing in the warmed room. Without any warning my g/f screamed, almost blood curdling, mouthing that something had touched her shoulder, then I felt the cold air all over me then it moved across the room and we saw the curtains of a locked window move and inexplicably the room was back to normal. Whatever presence we had encountered that day is destined to stay with me forever as I am still having chills relating this story many decades later.

Jessica and Terry I have a feeling I have told you about this bone chilling event in my life when we penned the haunted house story.
That sent shivers down my spine reading it!
I'll post something later on! 😍

Well guys listen to this.😮

I knew a couple who used to watch horror films. One evening they were watching the omen, and they said the crucifix that they had on their wall just fell off and hit the floor. They never watched a horror film again.

Then a guy we knew from childhood was with a group of his mates doing a Ouija board, he said nothing happened to the glass and they didn't manage to contact anyone, but when he looked in a mirror that same evening he saw the face of an old man looking back at him.

Not really Craig.
Call me a bit of a sceptic but my old Irish mother reckons she saw a few ghosts in her life.
I admit I got scared witless at about age 5 walking down a dark corridor to the loo in the middle of the night. I saw a glowing white human like figure floating down the corridor towards me. I screamed and ran into my sisters room waking up the whole household.
My old Dad thought it was a light from a nearby light house. Maybe, and I do have a good imagination, even then. But why would the glowing figure be floating towards me in the "middle" of the corridor?
My old mum, years later, told me she'd seen the same apparition herself.
Since then, nothing for me.
I never get worried about the dark, but dreams are a different matter for me.

Morning insomnia so responding Jessica. Spooky indeed. Tell me sceptics what serves people to make up these events, perhaps only ridicule, not notoriety. Now I'll try more 😴

Our locker room at work is spooky. We have sensor lights that come on, then only stay on for about 15mins so they turn off even if you're still in the locker room, so you have to wave your arms about to activate them again. And as it's at the top of the building and sound travels, you can hear all weird noises, so whenever I go to my locker I make sure I'm less than 15mins in there.

Yeah, do you have anything to share? 😃
Not really but I have noticed something flicking a small portion of my hair late at night in my bedroom if especially when I'm on my pc lately, it's the kind of thing my late father would do to annoy me all the time. I just think it's just his way of reminding me it's his birthday this Sunday, that was the other thing he did when he was alive was to remind every family member that it was either his birthday or father's day was coming up even Christmas as well. He was always so self centered and he loved to receive a good gift on those yearly occasions which usually meant money with a card his most his favorite gift of all time.

Probably your father only wanted to share those special occasions with his family as I do too and I dont think I am self centered.

There Terry you too have had an unexplainable paranormal encounter as I have. So why remain a sceptic. I only had the one event but never been a sceptic since. Perhaps these mysterious visitations happen to only certain people.
