To be honest though the real prize was qualifiying for the 20/Twenty Champions Trophy later in the year.

Isn't the prize money something like $4million for the winning team?

I thought it was only $2 million, and i think WA qualifies as well

I think the total money involved is around $5 million and $2 million is for the winning team.

I find it amazing that they have only lost one match in 3 seasons. 20\Twenty is the one form of the game where anyone can beat anyone on their day.

Don't both teams qualify for the Champions Trophy?

Yeah both the finalists qualify.

To bad there isn't a single Bushranger in the Test XV for the West Indies. But they do have David Hussey in the ODI squad
