mullaney good player not a gun though, johnny simpson form south caulfield is the best import by a mile good keeper and a gun bat, smashed a hundred in the semi last year against us, he needs a truck load of runs without ash russell there for a couple more games, although he should have got the same amount of weeks as jonny taylor but we wont go there !!!!!

hi there gary. im a big fan of yours. just wondering if you do any private coaching sessions?
i am currently picked in my 2nds team for my club. i was almost dropped to the 3rds last week. i cant get a bat at training due to the light factor, and hardly bowl. i thought i was in the team for my bowling but i didnt get a bowl yesterday and im batting at 9 i think.
can you pass on any of your experience to me or give me some advise?

A Bloke told me YCCC player & coach payments for 2007/8 have hit
100k. Told the bloke he was dreaming , more like $60k.

District 2nd's/VTCA 1's/Subbies 1's??

Interested to hear peoples view, perhaps if people have played more than one of these standards.

My mate, plays district 2's and makes me feel embarrased that i ONLY play VTCA 1's. Thoughts?

I may be just a dunce from the Subbies but the cash paid to the above and similiar amounts to the Keilor blokes is common knowledge.My question is wtf is your executive doing about it?Surely this blatant abuse of the system is not foolproof,auditors and the like have far reaching powers nowadays.Don't these clubs realise it's making a bit of a mockery of your whole comp as the same clubs dominate every year?If I call this practice Cheating then so be it.

Played subbies........ watched their gf last year............ not impressed. We definitely have stronger bowling line ups, they would have stronger #'s 6,7,8,9,etc.

Your mates a fukstick and should pull his head out of his arse!! District cricket has gone to the shiit..especially 2s! Hence the reason so many good players have come into our comp .
Would rather play VTCA 1s any day!!

But then again i wouldnt call playing 1s at Old Essendon Grammarians anything to write home about...bunch of soft cocks, almost as bad as their choking football side!!

Couldn't have said it any better myself. Play at Old Essendon and they wont have a beer with you. Play them at home and they bring in their own beers to your clubrooms. Then we start on the footy club...
