Scotland come into this match having won a match that will be hard to beat as match of the tournament. They will be excited and ready to go. Canada come in off another disappointing effort, and an easy loss to the Netherlands. Just a few days ago, these teams played two tight matches in Mombasa, and I'm sure we're all hoping for another one here today.

Match to begin: January 31, 2007 - 06:30 GMT

Weather: Cloudy with sunny breaks, 23C(73F)

Canada XV: John Davison, George Codrington, Qaiser Ali, Ashish Bagai, Umar Bhatti, Desmond Chumney, Austin Codrington, Anderson Cummins, Sunil Dhaniram, Sundeep Jyoti, Don Maxwell, Ashif Mulla, Henry Osinde, Abdool Samad, Kevin Sandher

Scotland XV: Craig Wright, Ryan Watson, John Blain, Dougie Brown, Gavin Hamilton, Majid Haq, Paul Hoffmann, Douglas Lockhart, Ross Lyons, Neil McCallum, Dewald Nel, Navdeep Poonia, Glenn Rogers, Colin Smith, Fraser Watts

The big question is: will Cummins be dropped?

I sure as hell hope so. There is no reason for him to be in the lineup. I would move for him to be dropped, brought back to Toronto, and deported.

Scotland 276-4 after 50

Watts was top scorer with 70

In reply, Canada 176-4 after 35 overs. They've got a chance here.

Re: WCL Match 5: Canada v Scotland

Canada 241-7 after 47 overs.
They need 12 per over from the last three.

Re: WCL Match 5: Canada v Scotland

Canada 255-7 after 48

They got 14 from that one! They now only need 11 an over from the last 2.

Re: WCL Match 5: Canada v Scotland

Canada 264-8 after 49

Yesterday Scotland picked up a win on the last ball. Looks like it'll come down to the last ball again today. But will it be a win or a loss?

Re: WCL Match 5: Canada v Scotland

Canada all out for 269

Tough loss for the Canadians.

Important win for Scotland. If they can beat the Netherlands in their next match, they should be in good shape for making the final.

Re: WCL Match 5: Canada v Scotland

Anderson Cummins: 10-1-67-1 (4nb, 5w)

Scotland win by 7 runs, and Cummins gives up 9 freebies. But he made his biggest score yet for Canada.........3

*sigh*
