Although the vast majority of features are similar to the old vB site, there are a few new or changed items. I'll do my best to list them here and explain if needed.
First up, Trophies and to be honest I'm not 100% sure how to explain. In a way they replace the old user names that we had previously. At the same time they are more than simply a record of post count.
You earn trophies for reaching various landmarks. For example, first post or being followed by a certain number of people. A full list of what we have currently can be found here - http://www.bigcricket.com/community/help/trophies.
In time we'll expand what you can actually achieve and attempt to make them more worthwhile.
