I'd say if Australia do finish second they'll have to change their choice of matches around.
It's all very poor by Channel 9. I'd say they would show it if they finished first or fourth.
The whole thing is just not what anyone expected. Their coverage of the World Cup, a premier cricket event, is well below standard. There will be many disappointed cricket fans in Australia that can't get Foxtel.
And it's not as if, there'll be missing important shows. The only one I can think of is "Today" which is hammered by Channel 7's "Sunrise" anyway. It seems that 9 has put mediocre ratings ahead of the World Cup.
