The end of the day you play the highest standard you can. You may attract a few players now that your up a grade who are just looking for game.

talk about comfort zone's.......????will phillips why are you at west?????making some $$$$ and in your comfort zone.......from all reports you were a gun jnr and could have been anything.....though back when you were at altona nth in the jnrs i seen nothing of the like......just remember 13-0......

im over talking to a 20 year old w@nker.......you sound like you've played test cricket and played footy with wayne carey james hird and nathan buckley......all in all your just a park cricketer like me.......

yeah Weapon has been at a few gay bath houses i hear and i believe he was in Sydney for the Mardi Gras.

The WDCA is a comp on the way down and will be forced to merge with the VTCA and clubs like Lavo will be on a good footing when that happens unlike the rest of you guys who will be playing at the bottom.

Lavo to grow the rest got struggle look at West losing M.Shield who else are they going to buy they have already been trying t buy more lavo players who will never go to those scum bags at WEST.

The WDCA should make Lavo take all their teams out of our comp.....no point having your matting sides if we are not good enough for your top2 sides......................Vote to kick them out & not let them back for a minimum of 5+ years...............:mad:

You're a joke Absolute joke. You talk about park cricket yet you're on here every day talking up your team and the structure you have put in place etc.

You are a very average cricketer who has tacked onto the back of good players. Now you've gone down to a shit grade and you're bagging a bloke who at the age of 21 has already made more of an impact on the competition your playing in then you have, almost at retirement age. Well in the higher grade.

AND if you knew anything about willo u would know that he always scored during juniors and was playing for Carlton when he was 16 - whats your claim to fame?

and he plays for spotty not altona in footy.

Lavo still have a Turf Side in the WDCA as well as 3 matting sides and a one day side still one of the biggest clubs in the comp.

mate, there are plenty of past post on here when your commenting like a Knob, so huge call telling others to grow up!

also alot of posts from your goodself, who constantly said you werent from Lavo, had nothing to do with Lavo, and wait for it 'Lavo would not leave the WDCA as there the best club there"..

proven to be wrong on all accounts!!

The grass isnt always greener and Lavo will be crawling back to the WDCA when they struggle over the next years!

there has been plenty of strong clubs move into the VTCA and has resulted there demise!

good luck with the move theDog, im sure Lavo know what they are doing.. They have a good commitee and a few good blokes, but i think they have got this call wrong!

Couldnt have put it better myself willy comp;)...............as I said before tdog, if WDCA is not good enough for Lavo's top 2 sides, why dont you take all your sides & go to another comp, we dont need you sooks anyway.....................hope it doesnt rain in the VTCA.............:D

hussler now going to the vtca there are 4 or 5 possibly 6 grades of turf.....surely the matting sides could stay in the wdca but wouldnt a club who wants to play turf take all their turf teams to the new comp......im with you......get rid of em.....all......and im sure there is a 1 day comp for all the old overcooked blokes who won the b-mat granny......i think they call it ''veterans'' sunday.........hahaha

The WDCA is a comp on the way down and will be forced to merge with the VTCA and clubs like Lavo will be on a good footing when that happens unlike the rest of you guys who will be playing at the bottom.

Was that the "overcooked blokes" who beat your young superstars?

If the logic of you & Hussler is correct, then you also need to get rid of the following matting clubs from the WDCA; Werribee Centrals, Altona Nth, Seabrook, Willi CYMS, Spotswood & Hoppers Crossing.

Altona Nth & Spotty are sweet, their more senior sides haven't deserted the comp................but the rest, see ya later I say...............:(

For your info laverton thirds played against most sides a turf 2nds last year and happened to beat the premiers in the end and would of made the finals but for a few selection hiccups and players unavailbility!!! I'm happy to play in highest grade the comp puts us in and mr Collins Newport still won't make finals with lavo out you simply ain't good enuf cheers see you in the bottle shop iwill shout you a stubby champ

what is the future of the WDCA ?

ANA have their AGM next week and the general view is to leave (VTCA ?) .

Other clubs struggling with

GU losing a number of veterans ?
Hoppers Club losing sponsorship and ability to attract players
Willy Colts losing at least half their side last year
Gellibrand stuggling to field a couple of sides with no juniors
Willy Imps with Ryan Hinton going and a couple of other players considering what to do
Point Cook losing more players and not being competitive last year
Laverton gone
West Newport paying money and getting stronger
Newport Digman paying money to get players but going nowhere
Whyndhamvale - who knows ?
Willy Congs - need to improve to make an impact
Deer Park - similar but need to change their culture under a coach who stirs the pot
Old Westbourne - do they want to go any higher ?

Where do we place the recruits from Melton and what happened with the Churches when the WDCA voted against the merger ?
