Winter Comp - players wanted (noting you can stay registered with your current team)
Tooronga District (based in the Malvern area) is one of 10 clubs to register interest in a Mid Year Cricket Association.
This would provide an opportunity to play against some different clubs, and be part of the first Winter Cricket League, that could potentially grow in future seasons.
The games would be played as 32 over 1 day games with each game to be fixtured over 2 weekends. This means if the game is completed in week 1 you get week 2 off. If week 1 is unplayable or unfinished, the game would then be played on the 2nd week. If the game begins on day 1 however is not completed due to weather, then the game will be completed on week 2.
No clearance needed, just a seperate registration.
