Mal Loye had one shot in his batting shot selection bag, the slog sweep. Other then that he struggled with anything full outside off stump and really he was a liability up the top of the order. No suprise for me.

I recall cricinfo saying Loye was likely to join England's World Cup squad at some point in the tournament because of injuries to other players.

At the very least Loye should be playing Twenty20 Internationals for England.
