Yanks cleaning up in Melbourne

Yank swimmers raking in the medals at FINA championship. Ruskies and
Chopstickers have more medals but they can only win in diving and
sync swimming, the total wus events.

Re: Yanks cleaning up in Melbourne

ya but fina are stuck with their heads in the pool. bring a group of indian pro kabbadi players and they would dominate the synchronized swimming events. they already have awesome lung capacity and strength just give them 3 weeks swimming training and they will win gold easily.

Re: Yanks cleaning up in Melbourne

The Indian national kabaddi team has been too busy representing India in the Sumo Wrestling World Cup, lifting the cup single-handedly after having been introduced to the sport for 5 minutes.

I'm afraid you will have to borrow the Ecuador national curling team to win all those swimming medals. They will only need 2 days of training, as opposed to the 3 weeks for Indian kabaddi players.

Re: Yanks cleaning up in Melbourne

Yanks running away with FINA champs. Phelps mindboggling! Ruskies and
Chopstickers out to quick start but can't win anything except
wus events. Yanks throw Bandis a bone by disqualifying in 4x100. Vision of what happen if Yank pro baseballers took up cricket.

What? What the hell does this have to do with anything? These swimmers have been swimming and training for swimming for many years. They have specific training plans which they follow in order to peak at the very moment of their race. They are not kabbadi players, curlers, or anything other than SWIMMERS.

It has nothing to do with baseball, cricket, or any relationship between the two. And you are just getting ridiculously irritating.

"These swimmers have been swimming and training for swimming for many years."

Yank pro baseballers been training many years batting, throwing, catching, balls...JUST LIKE cricketers.

"They have specific training plans which they follow in order to peak at the very moment"

And Yank pro baseballers have specific training plans to deliver in the big game...JUST LIKE
cricketers.

And baseballers are nothing but athletes who hit, catch, throw, field balls
...JUST LIKE cricketers.

Well, by now I HOPE I don't have to point out 1 + 1 = 2.

American Football quarterbacks train to throw the ball - would they make great bowlers? Hockey players train to hit the ball, would they make world class batsmen?

Guess what. The skill sets required, even if they are similar, are not the same. Given several years of training, they could learn to play, but you could not take baseball players and stick them into cricket. There is no such thing as a forward defensive in baseball. There is no such thing as a cut shot. The ball does not bounce on the way to the batsman in baseball. Two different sports. Give it up.

Re: Yanks cleaning up in Melbourne

Not only that but what he also failed to mention was that the seppo's are only cleaning up in the mens swimming. A lot easier done now with Thorpe retired. Looked a little ordinary in the female equivalent. Unless of course Timmy is sexist.

Re: Yanks cleaning up in Melbourne

Ten world records! Count 'em, ten!! By ONE country in ONE tournament!
Four by Phelps alone!! Absolutely mind-boggling!!

NEWSFLASH: THORPEDO FOUND! Thorpedo, who's been missing for three
days, was found wandering dazed and shell-shocked in the Outback,
mumbling over and over to himself, "Phelps....eveything I wanted to be...
everything I couldn't be...."

Is their mandatory drugs testing at FINA events? Something smells fishy over here.

Actually, all the Yanks did test positive for Kabibb (Kicked Arse Bigtime In
Bandi Backyard).

Re: Yanks cleaning up in Melbourne

Watched that "Duel In The Pool" between Yanks/Bandis this weekend. What a total
mismatch! Bandi men didn't win a single event! Nay, not one! Yanks
shouldn't even give them a another matchup unless Bandis agree to play Yanks
pro baseballers at cricket.

Re: Yanks cleaning up in Melbourne

i wonder what would happen if the MLB stars actually took on the Aussies cricketing team.

Oh yes:

US all out for 30 (6.3 Overs)
Aus 30/0 (0.4 Overs) most balls called for throwing

game over at 10:30am after starting at 9:30am, what a world we live in

More likely: Yank pro baseballers: 350-2 (25 overs declared), ARod 179 n.o.

Bandis: 97 a.o. (5 run outs, direct hit on the stumps
from boundary, 4 by spectacular, diving,
catches in the deep)

Aaahahahaha, you are so delusional, it's ridiculous. Unless you are letting the fielders wear gloves, they will have trouble fielding. A-Rod swings and misses - and gets bowled.

Even better, we dispense with the mandatory helmet rule.
