No worries pepper, win the medal and come second We'd take that every year.
Sam I'm Scared.
You can't ignomre me when I tell the truth.
you can't rely on 1 player to win you a flag. the point is by winning a Kevin Brady he more than enough justified the bergs decision to go after an import

so your saying that any club should pay someone 15k+ to win themselves a medal
and come second?? I really thik your brain is roasted! stick your medal in your ear
it's all about flags. Think about it, you are paying someone for winning themselves
a medal?? and you not winning the flag! are you for real? how can you possibly justify this?
NO IDEA ABOUT TEAM SPORT OR HOW YOU GO ABOUT IT. Hope whoever you get next season wins
the medal and we win Money, come speak to me then. I just can't believe your thought process, ask
the other Ten blokes that lost last year how they feel and how the money was spent.
Have a real hard look at yourself. and i'm the idiot!

no i'm not saying that, you make some valid points however you know that is not what I mean. you say ''that was worth it'', in terms of individual performance it was however in terms of winning the club a flag it wasn't (2 runs short), depends on how you look at it i suppose. my comments appear to be misinterpreted. my apologies for that. you seem to have alot of angst towards the bergs, can i ask why is that grasshopper?

ummm eerrrr, "it's not what I mean ect ect, mate you are a dud.
you don't even make any sense. It's that easy , a flag over a 15k+ player any day. How in the heck
do you build your club with paid imports?? you can't.It's all about a being a happy, together club.
YOUR NOT, IT'S THAT SIMPLE. I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST BERGERS. YOU JUST CHOCKED WITH BAT AND BALL
JUST LIKE TWO OTHER CLUBS LAST YEAR. So please go into your little layer and sook there for the next few years.
all your "young guns" are nowhere, coming going and who knows. Well let me enlighten you, they are just not good enough
for top grade so playing money shield is a blessing in disguise, Bubbles, Noones ect will keep you there abouts the rest will
struggle including Banyule. We where ready for the move as a club unlike yourselves. anyway have a good season. grasshopper, you watched way to much T.V.

yeah i'm a dud fair enough grasshopper whatever makes you happy.
am not worried if you do have anything against the bergs, it's just an observation i made from looking at your posts.
as far as imports go & building a club, dulip liyange did alot for your club in the years he was there! couldn't even make the top four.
i agree that the bergs will struggle, in fact probably the most of all 3 clubs going to DVCA

Thrre flogs from east Ivanhoe posing as a Rosanna person, doesn't matter who they are really just a few blokes with nothing better to do with their time than fire up all of us keyboard warriors!

they have have not recruited well enough for what they have lost. also the young kids they have are still developing & are not at that required level as yet
While I agree that the 2 outs for next season are going to be hard to replace, I think that the new players coming down next season will be very suitable replacements

Laim O'leary - Barclay Shield 3 innings totalling 24 runs average 8
B Grade 3 inning totalling 27 runs average 9
Total 51 runs average 8.5

Great kid and wish him well down at Heidelberg. Only hope he reaches his full potential

Thank god HDCA has finished, now I know why. absoluteglam enlighten us about peppers good arguments?
actaually spare me. NO IDEA, bye bye!!!!!

Sorry if I'm a little unaware but who are these replacements you speak of that will cover for 600 runs and over 50 wickets???

NO recruits that they get will make this up, 600 runs 50 wickets and I think it's more like 800 runs and 80 wickets, but not sure. was talking to a person from an "a" grade club this week,
He said" they didn't know what hit them when they went to Barclay, the money teams pay is outrageous,
and they struggle week to week to compete living on overdrafts" Local cricket on overdrafts!! Sometimes I ask myself ,"have we done the right thing" we will need a fortune after next season.

I have only been in Money shield for one year, so you could argue that I haven't been around long enough to know.

But as a member of my clubs exec, I can tell you that we are nowhere near an overdraft, nor have we ever been. I highly doubt that any club, regardless of comp or level would go into an overdraft purely to get players. Yes, there is good money in all local cricket for those with top level ability, and some for potential. Yet, MS clubs would not pay any more than BS clubs, more likely a bit on the lesser side, but likely to be around the same. And no club is stupid enough to go into an overdraft to get a player/s to get them up into BS, as being in the higher grade does not promise a higher intake of $$$$.

That was probably your worst post thus far, and that is saying a lot.

Hear, hear,
But, of course, overdrafts are a way of life in East Ivanhoe.

Funny about the overdraft, thats what your exec asked us when we were interviewed to join the comp.
Led us to beleive alot of clubs worked this way.
any other questions?

Not such a stupid post now, is it?
