Funny about the overdraft, thats what your exec asked us when we were interviewed to join the comp.
Led us to beleive alot of clubs worked this way.
any other questions?

Not such a stupid post now, is it?

Ever thought that they were checking to see how you operate financially? To find out your finacial position before you come across. Maybe to see if you could stay afloat, unlike your comp?

The DVCA Exec would have no idea whatsoever how clubs are financially, and highly doubt that they would make comment on clubs positions even if they know.

And yes, still a stupid post. Followed by another.

Apparently Committee politics, certain people voted in which were not wanted by the playing group, the rumour is there whole D grade premiership side wants to go to Mernda,Young gone back to Bull/Temp, McAuley to Epping.

One thing that doesn't make sense is: I couldn't imagine there would be massive numbers at the Whittleseas AGM (Small number of players and teams etc) If upto 15 players (as you mentioned) didn't want these people voted in, who voted them in? And like all committee's, if you don't want someone in, then run for the positions yourself. Otherwise you can't sook.

Proxy votes apparently.

Goes against corporatians act ! Then again we are the DVCA we can do anything, lets change
Federal laws.

You can outlaw or limit proxy votes in a clubs constitution, however, incorporated bodies are no longer bound by their constitutions. Committees can do whatever they wish, even chosing to completely ignore their constitutions, provided what they do is legal.
