City Of Moorabbin Cricket Association 2011/12

Fair play, GF. Ignorance is bliss! I actually hadn't read the advert. However, to explain myself, I was responding to a post which Mr Manders has wisely removed.

Surprised to know your boys are as raw as they are. Bodes well for the future at WP.

No Steve Worker is coaching Carrum Downs 2012/2013

Where do Uniting get all this money from? De Haan has been offered $12k to join the Billionaires.

Think Uniting had a solid 5 years of big savings before the last two of spending mr Flahive, however I think you should check your sources about your comment above....

I wouldnt worry to much Marshall, Mick Flavhive is nothing but a sh#t stirrer who posts on here to just get a response. Almost everything he says is bs. Why would Uniting want to pay DeHaan when they already have Russell and Zaia.
Why doesnt Mick let everyone know if he is really jumping the sinking ship and going to Omega.

I guess all will be revealed in due course. Happy to wear the shit stirrer/rumour monger title if proven to be incorrect. Marshall will be able to clarify now that he's aware of my source.

MIck I was very lucky to see our hawthorn supporting president yesterday and he has labelled it all as a mis communication. He just heard a rumour so I think I can very safely say its all false....
Also I can announce Robbie has signed for Elwood and is getting a cheeseburger per wicket

Fair enough. Thought it was a bit excessive, but when it comes out of the mouth of the Pres, you tend to take it as gospel. Certainly makes more sense for Robbie to paly on the big and slow expanses of Wattie Watson. Guess we now keep our ears peeled for the next bit of news to come out of Centenary Park. An all-rounder perhaps??

Since my name is being thrown around, Figure if you can't beat them join them...

There has been no 12K offer..? shocked at the source.. but i guess i will find out more on that at some stage.

Big and Slow Expanses of Wattie Watson..? I'm assuming you think this is the reason i take wickets..? Took almost exactly half at our ground and half at every other ground. Anyways, most people know that Marshall is responsible for all my wickets.. We come as a package deal, so it most likely would have been a $20K offer, obviously with myself pocketing the $12K.

If there are any 12K offers out there, shoot me a message! :D

Marsh,

I think after this season, i've earnt a Cheeseburger Meal and an apple pie.

News flash UNITING are chasing all esbc players. If you can't beat them, try to buy them.
Seriously uncle Mick, I would be very suprised if any player in the cmca went to play at bucc.

We are forgetting this is a forum, UM puts his name to everything he says, he does not hide from his thoughts, no one will ever be right in everything they say n you can never please everyone.......but at least he puts his name to it which means if he is wrong then who needs be can contact him n set him right n he apologizes!

Rather that then the 90% of the Cowboys on here who hide and take pots at people and clubs.

Speaking of Cowboys, I doubt it is actually RDH but if it is sounds like Broke back mountain the sequel in Elwood.

Why wouldn't anyone want to play at BUCC is a better question?
Apart from its cricket success, playing on the MCG is a lure in its own, the social side of BUCC is second to none, I have seen many of quality players stay after matches or come from there club to socialise till the early hours of the morning, and with a new club house to be built in the next year or two n arguably the best training facilities n aids in the CMCA aswell as one of the best junior set ups, a strong tireless working committee and supporter base who follow and support there club in packs.........why wouldn't you??
Clearly a throw away comment

So you'll be playing on the MCG every year Brett? Plzzz!!!!
Your social set up, whilst appealling, sounds similar to that of 90% of the other clubs in the CMCA, so hardly a selling point.
I'd just concentrate on offering $$$! It speaks louder than your other "positives".

Yes Brian 90% of other clubs pull near on 100 people to Friday night cricket to watch there juniors, they also have near 100 people back at the club after matches conclude on a Saturday also 90% of clubs always get 100+ people to every function........your club does this well also and perhaps are the exception. I have played at opposition grounds n stayed for a couple of beers over a decade n seen the numbers they get back also seen them set up for social functions n the numbers they cater for..........so I would say 10% of clubs at best may rival that side of thing n I am been generous.

Brett, 90% of what you say is shit, the other 10% is garbage.
How many people went back and celebrated losing the grand final??

Not sure exact numbers but I would estimate about 70 to 80 people - just the regulars - maybe a little short of the 100 Brett suggested.

Out of interest how many people would East Sandy get back on Grand Final night to celebrate? I know they have done it a fair bit so I wonder if there was more or less there than in previous years.

Pup,

1) Settle down.. no need to bite every time, or you will choke on the hook
2) thats great BUCC have/do all you say, good on them
3) If they like to spend the $$ they make from these fabulous turnouts, its their choice

& PS- not sure when you have hung round for many beers in my time of playing against you, or with you during our sunday days... you were a bit of a 'Toocan Sam' from what i have witnessed??

but pls answer me this one question if all of what you say is so grand at BUCC, then why did you leave a few years back?
