Re: Who will win the AFL flag?

The Saints thrash the Magpies to complete the perfect weekend, Bulldogs, Saints and Swan Districts all getting up :)

I wonder what the odds of all three winning next week would be? About 10,000 to 1?

Re: Who will win the AFL flag?

Swans dont stand a chance next week.

That one point loss Subi suffered would be enough for the mighty Lions to want sweet, sweet revenge. :)

Re: Who will win the AFL flag?

If the dogs get with in 10 goals of the champions they would of done themselves proud. Cats just too dominate and with the prospect of rain on the horizon tonight it could go very very pear shape

Re: Who will win the AFL flag?

Yup, Cats just proved they are way too good.

Saints to get up tonight, play with passion for the great man Sir Robert Harvey :)

Re: Who will win the AFL flag?

Would be nice to see the Saints play inthe GF.

But Hawthorn pose a real threat to that, regardless of recent results.

Hawthorn thrashed the saints by 54 points last night. So your dream of seeing the saints in the GF this saturday have been dashed.

Re: Who will win the AFL flag?

Okay footy fans, time to do some tips for the big one.

Please name your winning team, the margin they will win by and your Norm Smith medallist (medal awarded to the best player on the ground for those of us who aren't AFL inclined).

Let's hope it's a great Grand Final. @|

Premiers: Geelong
Margin: 27 points
Norm Smith Medallist: Brad Ottens

Re: Who will win the AFL flag?

I wanted Hawthorn to win but ******** me BigFooty is going to be unbearable for the next 6 months :D

Edit - Got pretty close with my predictions too :)

Re: Who will win the AFL flag?

So, Hawthorn win the flag. Well done to them, would rather them win it than Geelong, Geelong's supporters seem to have gotten pretty damn cocky over the last 12 months. The cats had their chances though, despite the very high amount of rushed behinds (10 I believe) they should have kicked a lot more goals than they did and were definitely in with a chance of winning.

Anyway, well done to the Hawks, premiers for 2008, a great achievement, now our eyes turn to the trade period and also the draft.

But not to mention the cricket! ;)
