Bundoora Park will be ok in Mash.....just - let’s not get ahead of ourselves here and as for Rivergum, they would be no certainty to win Money Shield let alone be put straight into the top grade and they know that as well otherwise they’d come across and prove everyone wrong and win Mash & Money in consecutive years which I find highly unlikely...
Agree, it was just throwing an idea out there to show how it could easily impact the smug bigger clubs who think they are above everyone else.

Alternatively, we could have kicked someone out of the comp to keep numbers even.

In September, the two bottom side in Mash Shield - Thomastown United and Whittlesea - play a match with the winner to stay and the loser to go.

Now that's an idea that Toddy could get behind.
So, the vote to expand into Darebin got through.

Why is a bye such a bad thing? The same people saying it is are probably the same people who miss a game because they have to go to the races.

Excellent call Hawkeye. Of the clubs who said no to Bundoora Park, I wonder how many forfeits they provided for the comp from their lower grades?
Given their distaste for missing a game of cricket, one can only assume it was none.

No Negatives at all a very positive move by the comp and by DC and welcome to DV BP. Will be good to see how they go coming over from jika

Gradings are going to be interesting this season. No doubt we'll hear a lot of whinging too.

With Diamond Creek going up from B, and Bundoora Park's 2nd, 3rds and 4ths probably coming into D, F & G it will create a bit of havoc with promotion and relegation.

Bundoora Park will stay in Mash for a couple of seasons.
The guys they are bringing in to their club are not any good.

Interesting....... I think they are every chance to have the best player in the comp by as far as you can throw your hat (assuming you can throw it a long way)

Sunny on the move ?

He'd have a million offers but his best mate plays at BP and they have been after him for a while, that's where I will think he may end up. I've spoken to him at length about his reasons for wanting to go and he will leave us (unless he changes his mind again, fingers crossed) with our best wishes. He's been very good for us but I sit comfortable knowing that we went over and above for him so definitely a two way street. Not many blokes walk in off the street and stay for 10 years, let alone turn out to be top shelf quality!!

At least you didn’t say it was one of the below average batsman already at that club
