Subbies Thread

Certain people have been dancing on Moorabbins' grave for years now but they keep on surprising and i'm told theyre in quite good shape off the field. Presuming they'll be better off without Grenville they might continue to surprise.Competition for players will be fierce down that way though as most clubs rely heavily on imported talent which probably wont be available this season.

I was told there was one ddca team (irrelevant to you guys) and one subbies team that had expressed interest in joining csb. I don’t know subbies well but assumed it would be moorabbin as they are the weakest club in the area. Be interesting to see if anything comes of it

Dingley iv heard but want to start in the championship and Moorabbin already has a team in CSB Sunday 1 day comp but will be interesting to see if they move to CSB full time but I doubt it

spot on mate Dingley is the ddca side. I doubt they’ll be allowed to go into championship so they may stay and have a crack at div 1.

It was from a csb rep but they wouldn’t tell us the subbies side...

Iv also heard Springvale were looking at the CSB but have put it on hold plus iv heard that Monash Gryphons from the MCA have been in discussions with Heatherton about a possible merger with the possibility that MHSOB from MCC club X1 competition joining Sunday 1 day CSB competition.

Another good pick up for Brighton with them signing Josh Drommond. They have brought a few points on board, so they must be getting rid of some from last years team.

Hard to believe the ex Caulfield Pres story hasn't raised any interest on here, feels like the Bigcricket forum has gone the way of the 8 ball over. Made me think of some favourite posts over the journey...

1. Ben Wood's somewhat incoherent ramblings
2. Anything posted by Weapo
3. Turfie single handedly trying to kill off Subbies so his beloved Caulfield South could actually have some decent competition

Anyone else recall any gems from the past?
