Happy Christmas to all my good friends. Today is for being with your loved ones, for over drinking and over eating and having a ripper of a time. And above all remembering the true meaning of Christmas to us Christians.

Who has a special tradition only for Christmas. I do as I always watch a version of Charles Dickens classic A Christmas Carol/ Scrooge. And I invariably get a touch watery eyed at the conclusion.

Do you guys/gal still listen to Chrissie carols like moir. I have two favorites, When a Child is Born and O Holy Night. Your favorites?

I couldn't open my present until Christmas morning and I have now. I wish for world peace.

Yes we all want good health Thomas and world peace with no more tyrants/dictators Jessica. How good would it be if it was only a matter of rubbing an ancient magic oil lamp for these wishes to become reality.

I know those but mine is "Driving home for Christmas" and "Last Christmas" .

I love all the Christmas carols, my fave though has to be Jingle Bells
I also love to hear Christmas carols sung by a choir.

I remember times when I tried to sing carols in a church. Hark the Herald, Angels sing .... Good King Wenceslas ...

Yes, but in a different way. I don't need those but I was again thinking about why other people needed them to make some changes to their life. Would you know the reason?
This afternoon, when I realised that my daughter was determined to sort out a problem in the new year which is logistically demanding, I promised to help her make this resolution come true.

To cut back on smoking and alcohol.
Also I must cycle more for my health's sake.
